Our next quarterly Members’ Meeting is coming up! Mark your calendars for Sept. 7th, as we’ll be meeting at Kokololio Beach Park after Sunday service to discuss and vote on church family business. Keep an eye on your inboxes for any important information preceding the meeting! If you’re not currently a formal member of the Refuge, you are still welcome and encouraged to join us for our meeting to see what formal church membership looks like in practice! We’ll be sharing a potluck meal together and enjoying the park after the meeting, so make sure to bring sunscreen and a blanket/chair to sit on — we’ll see you all there!

It’s been a wonderfully blessed 5 years together as a church Ohana, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of you! We’ll be meeting together after Sunday service at Kokololio Beach Park to share a potluck meal and enjoy the day together, so make sure to bring your blankets/chairs and suncreen. We’ll be providing burgers and kalbi on the grill, so bring a side dish or dessert to share!

Join us as we partner with the Hauʻula Community Association for a community clean up! We’ll be meeting at 9AM at the HCA at 54-010 Kukuna Road to volunteer and serve our neighbors in Hauʻula. Pizza lunch will be provided — we hope to see you all there!

Aloha, ladies! Mark your calendars — our 4th annual Christmas Cookie Exchange is coming up on December 7th (time TBA)! We’ll be meeting at Aunty Carol’s home to celebrate and fellowship together. Bring cookies to share and come enjoy a lovely day with us - we hope to see you all there!

Our church practices formal church membership, and one aspect of this is our quarterly church membership meetings. We gather together after our Sunday service to share a meal, discuss and vote on church budget, leadership, and more. If you are currently a formal member of The Refuge, make sure to attend these meetings — we want our members to have a voice in these decisions. (If you are not a formal member, but are interested in seeing how formal church membership is executed in a practical way, we welcome you to join us and observe!)
